Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track Appointment

The University of Manitoba

The College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, Canada is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of pharmacology.

Applicants must possess a post-baccalaureate degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D. or equivalent), preferably with post-doctoral or fellowship training. All applications from qualified individuals with expertise in pharmacology will be considered. Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated teaching experience in a diverse range of pharmacology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Pharmacy and the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. The individual will be expected to possess and develop an area of research, funded by Tri-Council Agencies (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC). A record of research / scholarly activity will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will provide service to the College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences and University of Manitoba. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The College of Pharmacy has a long history of excellence in pharmacy education and research. It is part of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, situated on a dynamic campus that provides opportunities for interprofessional collaboration in health sciences research and education. The College of Pharmacy is located in a recently built, state-of-the-art, 90 000 sq. feet Apotex Centre on the Bannatyne Campus at the University of Manitoba.
