Responsibilities
The Department of Pharmacy Practice of Mercer University College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track faculty position of Ambulatory Care based on the Macon campus. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the final candidate. The main responsibilities will be to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program in both the didactic and experiential components and to develop a clinical practice at Mercer Medicine, a clinic practice in Macon, GA. Additional responsibilities include didactic and experiential teaching of medical students and responsibilities in service and scholarship are required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. A Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy is required.
2. Specialty residency training at the PGY-1 and/or PGY-2 level; a PGY-2 residency in ambulatory care is preferred.
3. Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Georgia.

Mercer Medicine is a multi-specialty, multi-physician practice and a subsidiary of the Mercer University School of Medicine and the Mercer Health Sciences Center. Mercer Medicine is located in Macon, GA. Mercer Medicine physicians strive to provide advanced primary and specialized care to patients throughout Central Georgia using the latest health care innovations, treatments and procedures. The College of Pharmacy is located on Mercer University's Cecil B. Day Campus in Atlanta, GA and is one of four academic units within the Mercer Health Sciences Center.
