Description: The Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is seeking applications for an open rank faculty position (tenure track or non-tenure track) in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on Pharmaceutics. Preferred starting date: On or before July 1, 2018

Essential functions: Teaching in the professional pharmacy program (PharmD); engagement in research and scholarly activities appropriate to the discipline and rank; service to the department, college, and university.

Qualifications: An earned PhD or completion of a PhD prior to beginning the position in pharmaceutical (or biomedical) sciences with preference in the area of Pharmaceutics; a record of and/or potential for excellence in teaching, service and scholarly activity in these areas. A background in pharmacy and/or pharmacy education is preferred.

Rank and salary: The salary is nationally competitive by AACP standards commensurate with rank and track at a public institution. Initial appointment of rank will depend on the experience, qualifications and goals of the applicant. A startup package is available.

The College: The College of Pharmacy is part of the Academic Health Science Center of ETSU, which also includes the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, and Clinical & Rehabilitative Health Sciences.
