The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences. We seek an interdisciplinary scientist with expertise in molecular neuropharmacology and a research focus in neuroinflammatory processes and/or neurological or neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, etc. The College is located in the heart of the Academic Health Center, providing modern infrastructure and ample opportunities for collaborations with both basic and clinical programs, including the Neuroscience Institute.
Faculty members are expected to develop/maintain a competitive, externally-funded research program, have a strong commitment to graduate and professional education (MS/PhD and PharmD programs), and contribute to our vigorous collaborative environment.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Pharmacology or related discipline, MD, or equivalent degree; postdoctoral experience; and evidence of significant and relevant research accomplishments.
