The Medicinal Chemistry department invites qualified candidates to submit applications for the position of postdoctoral researcher. These will be reviewed by individual faculty members and placed in a pool for consideration for one-year research positions in medicinal chemistry (with the possibility of renewal for one or more additional years).

Faculty in the department carry out research in medicinal chemistry as broadly defined, including the fields of drug design, metabolism, enzymology, synthesis, and protein chemistry. Specific information about the research activities in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry can be obtained at our website, All faculty members in the department may serve as supervisors, depending on the availability of positions and funding. A Ph.D. and research training in medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, molecular biology or a closely related field is required. Preferred candidates will also have a record of research accomplishments as reflected in publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific meetings.
