NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY invites applications for 12-month, full-time, University-funded, Pharmacy Practice faculty positions for our FORT LAUDERDALE, PALM BEACH GARDENS, AND SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO campuses for the positions of Assistant/Associate Professor
Preferred specialties include COMMUNITY PHARMACY, HEALTH INFORMATICS, DATA ANALYTICS. POPULATION HEALTH and MANAGED CARE. Pediatrics, transitions of care, internal medicine and pharmacogenomics are also desired. Individuals of exceptional talent or drive in other disciplines (including, but not limited to, oncology, critical care, pain management, nutrition, and health outcomes) are encouraged to apply as well.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a transformational interest in the fields of Community Practice, Accountable / Managed Care, Informatics, Population Health, or Academia.
The Pharmacy Practice Department has a truly dynamic faculty representing a wide spectrum of practitioners and a growing residency and fellowship program. Job requirements include developing a contemporary practice, didactic teaching, precepting and mentoring students, pursuing independent and original scholarship, and providing service to the University and College. INNOVATION AND SELF-MOTIVATION are central to the job responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited Pharmacy School. Career-established professionals with prior academic experience, specialty residency, fellowship training, and Board certification, preferred, but not required. Florida pharmacist licensure is expected within three months of employment.
