The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is recruiting for a 12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor. The ideal candidate should have a background in health services or health outcomes research with a focus on pharmacogenomics. Successful candidates will have already established a highly competitive independent research program or will possess the clear potential to do so. The position requires a strong track record of publications demonstrating breadth of expertise and potential. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate the ability to create and maintain strong research collaborations. While this position is based in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, there is an expectation for collaboration with other divisions, most notably the Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics. Beyond maintaining a successful research agenda, candidates will also be expected to contribute to the graduate training program and the professional program, as well as the overall mission of the School.

Educational Requirements-PhD with training in health outcomes, health services research or a related field.

Qualifications and Experience - A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacogenomics research.
- Evidence of success or strong potential for success in obtaining external research funding
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
