Assistant / Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice

The University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice & Administration, is accepting applications for a calendar year, non-tenure or tenure track clinical faculty member in acute care or ambulatory care pharmacy practice. The selected faculty member will play an essential role in the continued development of our innovative School of Pharmacy. Responsibilities include the development and delivery of integrated educational experiences, pursuit of scholarly activities, development and maintenance of a patient-centered pharmacy practice model, and service contributions to the School of Pharmacy, the University, and the community at large.

Successful candidates will possess a high level of clinical expertise and competency, enthusiasm for teaching, experience with technology-supported teaching, and the interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with learners, faculty, patients, healthcare providers, and the public. Qualified applicants will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut. Post-doctoral residency and/or fellowship training or equivalent experience is required. Candidates with training, added qualifications, or equivalent experience in adult infectious diseases pharmacy practice are highly encouraged to apply.
