The University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice & Administration, is accepting applications for a calendar year, non-tenure or tenure track clinical faculty member in acute care or ambulatory care pharmacy practice. The selected faculty member will play an essential role in the continued development of our innovative School of Pharmacy. Responsibilities include the development and delivery of integrated educational experiences, pursuit of scholarly activities, development and maintenance of a patient-centered pharmacy practice model, and service contributions to the School of Pharmacy, the University, and the community at large.

The University of Saint Joseph was founded in 1932 by the Sisters of Mercy. The University offers more than 21 majors and pre-professional programs, accelerated bachelors-to-masters and online degree programs functioning as an undergraduate women’s program and co-educational adult, graduate and professional studies program.

Successful candidates will possess a high level of clinical expertise and competency, enthusiasm for teaching, experience with technology-supported teaching, and the interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with learners, faculty, patients, healthcare providers, and the public.
Qualified applicants will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut. Post-doctoral residency and/or fellowship training or equivalent experience is required. The search committee will continue to review completed applications until the position is filled.
