Job Description – Fonctions:

The Faculty of Pharmacy of Université de Montréal is currently searching for an assistant or associate professor in the field of clinical pharmacology. More specifically, the candidate’s previous work should preferably reflect acquired skills in clinically applied pharmacokinetics with emphasis on personalized drug therapies.


The successful applicant will be required to develop and run an independent research program integrating diverse pharmacokinetic aspects related to specific populations, possibly requiring technical use of pharmacogenomics, biomarkers or pharmacological modeling and simulation. The successful candidate will also supervise graduate students and will be required to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level at the Faculty of Pharmacy in the field of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism.The candidate will also contribute to enrich the University’s reputation and participate in institutional activities.


Candidates should hold a Ph. D. and a postdoctoral training in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology or any other relevant field. Training in pharmacy or clinical pharmacology is a major asset. The successful candidate will also be required to be admissible to the Salary Support Program of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQ-S). Candidates are requested to be able to teach in French*.
