Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics, Tenure-Track Position
Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Available: July 1, 2010
Essential functions: Teaching in the professional pharmacy program (PharmD); engagement in research and scholarly activities appropriate to the discipline; service to the department, college and university.
Qualifications: An earned PhD or completion of a PhD prior to beginning the position in pharmaceutical (or biomedical) sciences with preference in the area of Pharmaceutics; a record of and/or potential for excellence in teaching, service and scholarly activity in these areas. A background in pharmacy and/or pharmacy education is preferred.
Rank and salary: The salary is nationally competitive by AACP standards for a 12 month tenure-track position at a public institution. Rank will depend on the experience and qualifications of the applicant. A startup package is available.
The College: The College of Pharmacy is part of the Health Sciences Division of ETSU, which includes the College of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health and Clinical & Rehabilitative Health Sciences.
