The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy, is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our Faculty, to provide leadership in clinical practice, teaching and scholarly activity.
The position is a Non-tenure-track Appointment, at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor.
Position Description: The primary duties of this position will be to develop a clinical practice and education site. There are excellent opportunities for possible practice areas in both ambulatory and acute care settings, including: Internal Medicine and sub-specialties, Emergency Care, Critical Care, Nephrology, Cardiology, Pediatrics and Infectious Disease. However, other areas of clinical practice will be considered.
Active participation in the PGY1 Residency Program and contributing to the teaching and scholarship missions of the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, are expected.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold Pharm.D. degrees and have completed postgraduate residency or fellowship training. Specialty or PGY-2 residency training and Board certification are preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
The successful candidate must become licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
