Job Scope: This is a tenure-track position.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Teach pharmacology and related basic science content in a team-based model in the PharmD curriculum.
  • Maintain an active research program including publication and securing of external funding
  • Contribute to service in The College of Pharmacy and The University

Required Skills:

  • Experience in instruction/teaching is desired. Applicant should be familiar with delivery content in multiple styles (e.g. active learning, self-directed learning) in varying contexts
  • Ability to develop and maintain an active research. Preferably in collaboration with College and University faculty. Preference will be given to applicants who have a strong background in Immunology. Ability to implement research program to foster student-centered high impact learning opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Pharmacology, Immunology or related basic science discipline
  • Post-doctoral experience of at least 2 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience in small or large group settings
