This is a one year limited term position and is funded from external sources. Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funds.The Health Outcomes Research and Policy department of the Harrison College of Pharmacy is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant position. The individual will use basic knowledge of public health, health services and/or social science principles to assist researchers in analyzing, developing, implementing and promoting innovative strategies and solutions to address public health issues and challenges. The current research programs aim to improve access to affordable medical care and increase immunization uptake, and planning, maintaining or completing research programs and/or projects.
The successful candidate must own and be able to operate a vehicle since occasionally the candidate will be required to recruit participants off-site and visit external agencies. Prior experience working in public health or health outcomes research and prior experience using SPSS are preferred.
This position will provide great opportunities to further develop research skills in implementation science and health outcomes research, strengthen statistical analyses and qualitative analyses skills, and contribute to peer-reviewed manuscripts with the research team as an author.
