Regis University School of Pharmacy invites applications at the assistant or associate professor rank for a full-time, 12-month appointment in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

The innovative Doctor of Pharmacy program enables faculty to work together in teams to deliver integrated course content including biomedical, pharmaceutical, social administrative, and clinical sciences. Curricular content is primarily delivered using Team-Based LearningTM (TBL) rather than traditional lecture. TBL is an active learning teaching model that allows faculty to serve as facilitators, that promotes self-directed student learning that draws on teamwork and critical thinking skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, clinical practice, service, and scholarship.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering curricular content, maintaining an active clinical practice site in the faculty member’s area of expertise, and precepting students at the practice site.
In addition, the faculty member will provide service to the school, college, university, and community and engage in scholarship.

Qualified individuals must have an earned doctorate degree and one year of residency training or equivalent work experience. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Colorado. Preferred qualifications include individuals with pharmacy practice experience are encouraged to apply; those with at 2 years of residency training or least 3 years of clinical pharmacy-related work experience are preferred.
