The Faculty of Pharmacy of Université Laval, the first francophone university established
in North America, located in Quebec City, invites applications for the creation of a Canada
Research Chair (CRC) Level 2 in pharmaceutical sciences.
This Tier 2 CRC is targeting exceptional promising researchers. Candidates should have
obtained a PhD diploma within the last 10 years and lead a robust research program as
well as showing interest and competency in teaching.
The candidate will need to develop an innovative research program in pharmaceutical
science, from the development and characterization of drugs to drug usage and effects in
populations. Examples of relevant themes include: biotechnologies, integration and use of
massive data, biological drugs, pharmaco-economics. Other relevant research themes will
also be considered.
Criteria for evaluation
Among others, will be evaluated:
- the potential to develop and lead a competitive and funded research program;
- the potential to teach, recruit and train excellent undergraduate and graduate students
The application selected by the Faculty of Pharmacy will further be examined and evaluated

Career interruptions and delays

- a research program of 3 to 6 pages, excluding references and figures;
- a list and contact information for 3 references.
