The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (CHS) or Associater Professor (CHS) in the Pharmacy Practice & Translational Research Division.

Applicants for this position must hold a PharmD of equivalent terminal degree and be eligible for Wisconsin pharmacy licensure. Candidates must have completed a PGY2 pharmacy residency, PhD training, fellowship, or have equivalent clinical or academic experience. Preference will be given to individuals with expertise and/or research interests in oncology.  This may include, but is not limited to precision medicine, immunotherapy, pharmacotherapeutic outcomes and/or informatics.

Responsibilities include classroom instruction in practice-related courses within the school’s Doctor of Pharmacy program, establishment of an independent research program in the individual’s area of expertise, and collaborations leading to a sustained program of publishable scholarly work. Another important responsibility is the development of a clinical practice (4-8 hours per week) that may include opportunities through the continuum of cancer care.

The School of Pharmacy also hosts vibrant graduate student programs and an undergraduate degree program in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
