The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy ( medicinal-chemistry-pharmacognosy) is seeking three new tenure-track faculty in synthetic or natural products anticancer drug discovery. Individuals are sought to fill the following positions:

1) A full professor with a strong track record of funding, including current support from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), focused on the discovery of cancer therapeutics. Leadership opportunities are available with this position.

2) An associate or assistant professor focused on anticancer drug discovery. NCI funding is required at the associate professor level.

3) An associate or assistant professor specializing in computer-aided drug design and the in silico exploration of anticancer targets. NCI funding is required at the associate professor level.

Candidates must hold a PhD or an equivalent degree. These positions present translational opportunities, signifying a joint recruiting effort between the College of Pharmacy and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC, The OSUCCC is one of 49 NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers and has earned the NCI’s highest ranking of "exceptional" during the last two CCC-designation grant cycles. Our more than 340 cancer researchers, who collectively represent 11 of the 15 colleges at Ohio State, generate $90 million in research funding each year, including $54 million in NCI funding.
