The postdoctoral scholar will help design, conduct, and analyze research studies under the supervision of the laboratory Principal Investigator (PI). The postdoctoral scholar will receive further and specific advanced training from the PI and will also be responsible for training of graduate students.
Specific responsibilities, under the direction of the PI, include:
1) Design and execution of experiments
2) Evaluation and analysis of results
3) Preparation of scientific manuscripts
4) Teaching and training of other trainees
A PhD from an accredited college/university in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related discipline is required as well as some post-PhD experience. Must possess research qualifications in the area of receptor or molecular pharmacology, biochemistry, cell Biology, or related discipline, as evidenced by publication record.
