An employment opportunity is available for a Postdoctoral Associate in the laboratory (https://cts.fiu.edu/laboratories/mansourlab/) of Dr. Heidi Mansour (https://cts.fiu.edu/people/mansour-heidi/) at the Center of Translational Science (https://cts.fiu.edu/) located in the beautiful Treasure Coast region of Florida in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. The cutting-edge research projects will involve the design, development, and physicochemical characterization of advanced drug delivery and nanomedicine systems plus in vitro performance testing, in vitro cellular and in vivo animal studies. Studies will be carried out using both in vitro (acellular and cellular) and in vivo rodent animal models.

Candidates should have a recent PhD in Pharmaceutics/Drug Delivery/Pharmaceutical Sciences awarded within the past 0-4 years, with demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutics/drug delivery/nanomedicine research, in vitro human cell culture hands-on experience, in vivo animal hands-on experience specifically conducting lung studies in mice and rats, and advanced scientific writing skills as demonstrated by several pharmaceutical sciences nanomedicine research journal publications.
