My research interests span the fields of health and health care, family, and social policy, examining the causes of social inequalities throughout the life course. Since joining ACPHS, I have begun exploring disparities in complex patient populations and continuing my work in women and children's health and health care. Some of my most recent projects explore the role of health literacy and social support on medication management for Chronic Kidney Disease patients. Additionally, I have been looking at modern reproductive health questions around assisted reproductive technology as well as understanding the patient and provider interaction.
