Expertise: Design, synthesis and animal evaluation of novel radiopharmaceuticals labeled with positron emitting radioisotopes like C-11 and F-18. The main purpose for these radiopharmaceuticals will be their use for human Positron Emission Tomography (PET) studies in oncology, cardiology and neurology.
To identify therapeutic agents for nervous system disorders including cognitive and attention disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson disease and nicotine addiction among the class of selective nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonists.
Phytomedicinals, Nutraceuticals, Herbal Medicine, Natural Products Chemistry. The design of extraction protocols of natural herbs and drugs and the HPLC analysis of herbal drugs and mixtures to identify active constituents.
