My research is focused on how the learning sciences can influence the development of cognitive skills, attitudes and behaviors such as empathy and self-reflection in pharmacy students, pharmacists, and other health care providers. I am also involved in investigating theories and best practices in how educators can utilize self-reflective practices in the classroom.
