A research lab in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking for a Research Analyst position to support projects advancing new technologies invented at UB. The Research Analyst will purify monoclonal antibodies and antibody fragments by affinity chromatography, characterize protein preparations by SDS-PAGE, apply phage display technology to identify single domain antibodies with desired binding specificity, analyze pharmacokinetic data collected from preclinical pharmacology experiments, and perform computer simulations using ADAPT and/or Python.

Job Duties will include:

  • Mathematical modeling / data analysis
  • Protein purification
  • Phage display / sdAb discovery
  • Technical tasks including preparing buffers, washing glassware
