The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences within the College of Pharmacy at Mercer University, located in Atlanta GA, invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month, tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.
The applicant will need to teach within the Pharm.D. professional program and the graduate (Ph.D., M.S.) program in pharmaceutical sciences.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, with a proven track record and strong potential for maintaining an independent and innovative research program that will be competitive for sustained extramural funding.
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is comprised of twelve faculty members with diverse expertise in pharmaceutics, drug delivery, molecular modeling, neuroscience, pharmacogenomics, as well as neuropharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, and molecular pharmacology. Department faculty are broadly funded through a variety of extramural mechanisms, including several currently active federal grants. Departmental faculty mentor approximately 30 Ph.D. and 10 M.S. students in the pharmaceutical sciences graduate program.

Day Graduate and Professional campus in Atlanta, GA, is to advance health through innovations in teaching, research, patient-centered care, and service.
